Dutch Department of Colonies bought screw steamship to be used as troop transport according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 31 May 1860

An item reported that the Dutch Department of Colonies bought an iron built screw steamship which now was converted into a troop transport for the Dutch East Indies.
