Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. Doggersbank and paddle steamship Zr.Ms. Sindoro arrived at Malta coming from Gibraltar according to the Dutch newspaper Weekblad van Den Helder en het Nieuwediep dated Monday 27 August 1855

An item reported that the Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. Doggersbank (1) and the steamship Zr.Ms. Sindoro (2) in the early morning of the 14th after a voyage of 13 days arrived at Malta coming from Gibraltar. Both ships were expected to return end September at the Netherlands.

1. Frigate 1st class, laid down at the navy yard of Amsterdam, Netherlands in June 1831, launched on 24 November 1841, stricken in 1873, dimensions 54 x 14 x 6,05, metres, 2.480 tons displacement and an armament of 60 (peacetime)-70 (wartime) guns.
2. Paddle steamship 3rd class, laid down at the navy yard of Amsterdam, Netherlands on 1 November 1850, launched in 1852 and stricken in 1867, dimensions 45,00 x 8, x 4,00 metres, displacement 781 tons, horsepower 150hp and an armament of guns.
