An item reported that according to royal decision dated the 14th no. 65 the at Den Helder, Netherlands lying Dutch screw steamship Djambi 1st class was to be commissioned on 1 June for a voyage abroad under command of captain lieutenant M.H. Jansen. Her etat major consisted of 1st officer 1st lieutenant jhr. N.A. Holmberg de Beckfelt, 2nd lieutenants G. Bijl de Vroe, C.J. Smith, P.J. Rosenwald, midshipmen 1st class P.M. Cochius, W.F. Blaauw, H.J. van der Mandele, F.H. baron van Verschuer, C.A> Woldringh, B.M. van der Weide, W.A. van Aken, C.J. de Jong, H.C. Juta, officer of health 1st class J.F.G.T. Kluge, officer of health 3rd class C.H. Schröder, officer of administration 2nd class M.J. Duvelaer van Campen and clerk J. Gallas. The newspaper Nieuwe Courant van Den Helder dated 1 June reported that she was now to be commissioned on the 15th. The edition dated the 12th that the departure was delayed until 1 July.(1)
