Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij (N.H.M.) hired Dutch bark Maarten van Rossem as troop transport according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 12 April 1862

An item reported that the N.H.M. hired the Dutch ship Maarten van Rossem captain Rijken to transport 125 military and 7 cabin passengers from the Netherlands towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies.(1)
