Dutch 6th-7th charter Zeepaard 1781-1805

Of the admiralty Amsterdam, on stocks at the admiralty yard at Amsterdam, Netherlands 19 October 1781, launched 25 July 1782, completed 1783, transport 1797, captured by the British but left behind 1799, after she was ground broken up? 1805, dimensions (Amsterdam foot) 125 7/11 x 34 x 13 2/11, an armament of 18-24 guns and a crew numbering 150 men. Last of her kind. Commanding officers 1787 captain Van Woensel when she served in the Mediterranean and summer 1801 captain lieutenant W.G. Gaymans off Texel, Netherlands. Served also in the Dutch West and East Indies.
