American whaler Sarah lying in April at St. Catherines according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 7 June 1864

An item referred to a letter dated 10th April written by captain Handy on board of the bark Sarah of Mattapolsett reported her lying at St. Catherines loaded with 400 barrels sperm oil of the a total catch of 635 barrels. She departed 11 months earlier and was next going back home while cruising. She departed on 11 May 1863 bound for the Pacific. Agents J.R.&W.L. Taber. Measured 400 tons.
