An item reported the departure from Nieuwediep, Netherlands on the Friday before of the German warship Zieten towards Wilhelmshaven, Germany after a stay of several days.(1)

Laid down at the shipyard of Thames Iron Works at London, England in 1875, launched on 9 March 1876, commissioned on 1 August, used for the fishery protection since 1899, coast guard vessel since 1914, stricken on 6 December 1919 and finally sold for 655.000 German mark to be broken up at Wilhelmshaven on 18 April 1921.
