Russian warships cruising in the Baltic or visiting Copenhagen, Denmark according to the Dutch newspaper Groninger courant dated 22 June 1849

An item dated Hamburg, Germany 15th reported the long expected arrival of the first Russian steam warships Ollwaschaay and Itschin in the roads of Copenhagen, Denmark. The fleet commanded by Lazareff (1) left Reval [nowadays Tallinn, Estonia] and was at that moment cruising in the Baltic.
