Russian steamship Kostromo stranded near Seakim, Egypt according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 21 October 1897

An item reported that the Russian steamship Kostromo of the so-called Voluntary Fleet was stranded on the cliffs of Cape Elba near Soeakim, Egypt. An British ship was underway for support.
