Dutch seal hunter Dirkje Adema and Noordpool underway towards Greenland according to the Dutch newspaper Leeuwarder courant dated 18 February 1859

An item dated Harlingen, Netherlands 20th reported the departure on the same morning by the Greenland seal hunter Dirkje Adema commandeur C. Brinkman with a crew of 56 men. The Noordpool captain R. Helmers had left on the 7th towards Tønsberg where he was to hand his ship over tot commandeur C. Kock where she was apparently manned with 60 Norwegian sailors.
