Ordered on 11 June 1975, laid down as the Norwegian minelayer and command vessel Vidar at the shipyard of Mjellem&Karseln, Bergen, Norway on 1 February 1976, launched on 5 August 1977, commissioned on 10 February 1968 and sold in 2006 to Lithuania. With a displacement of 1.673/1.700 tons (full load) and as dimensions 64,8 x 12 4 metres or 213’ x 39’x 13’. Speed 15 knots. Her crew numbered 60 men. The armament consisted of 2-4cm guns, 2x3-32,4cm/12,75” torpedo tubes, a Mistral SAM launcher and able to carry 300-400 mines.
