Dutch East Indiamen Zeeuw and De Bodt waiting in the roads of Vlissingen, Netherlands for a favorable wind according to the Dutch newspaper Leeuwarder courant dated 8 September 1781

An item dated Vlissingen, Netherlands 25 August reported the arrival in the evening of the 24th of the 54 gun Dutch East Indiaman Zeeuw (1) captain Udemans coming from Rammekens, Netherlands. The intention was to depart with the first favourable east wind together with the Dutch East Indiaman De Bodt (2) captain J.A. Schulz and join the other East Indiamen which were to depart from Texel Netherlands.
