Russian ship Graaf Nitika twice captured by privateers of Menorca and twice recaptured by Spanish privateers according to the Dutch newspaper Hollandsche historische courant dated 23 October 1781

A tiding received from Barcelona, Spain dated 29 September reported that the Russian ship Graaf Nitika [Dutch spelling] captain C. Bandix departed on the 3rd and was captured by two privateers of Port Mahon, Menorca, Baleares. On the 12th on a distance of 6 miles from Menorca captured by two Spanish privateers which released her. Within five days she was again captured by a privateer of Port Mahon and on the 19th she was recaptured off Mahon by two Spanish chebecqs and who took her to the harbour Palena, Majorca, Baleares.
