British bark Musselcrag arrived at Holyhead underway towards South America according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 20 March 1905

An item dated London, England 17th reported that the British steel built bark Musselcrag of 1.870 tons entered Holyhead with heavy damaged boats, deck and so on and with the loss of her sails. She left Port Talbot, Wales, England on the 14th towards the South American coast. She arrived together with the French 4-mast Nord underway from Port Talbot towards Iquique, Chile with similar damage.(1)

1. IMO 106792. Gross register tonnage 1.985 tons and as dimensions 81,1 x 12,2 x 7,2 metres. Built with yard number 126 by Hamilton Wm.&Co., Glasgow Scotland for account of Corsar, Liverpool, Scotland in 1892. 1910-1913 owned by Bech Alexander&Co., Norway, owned by Monsen E., Tvedestrand, Norway until 1916 and finally by Heinstein Thv.B.B. Sonner, Kristiansand, Norway as the Astrella. Abandoned by her crew on 19 December 1916 when underway from Leith, England towards Montevideo, Uruguay after loosing her rigging and set on fire.
