Dutch merchant ship Louisa Maria with troops bound for the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Vlissingse Courant dated 2 June 1843

An item dated Harderwijk, Netherlands 27th May reported that on 5th June a detachment of 120 non-commissioned officers and soldiers commanded by 1st infantry lieutenant W.P. Mac’leod accompanied by 2nd engineers lieutenant A.M.E. van Deventer and officer of health F.W.C. Scholl to embark the ship Louisa Maria captain Jasky bound for the Dutch East Indies.
