Dutch vessel De Twee Gebroeders lost on the Kan-Galangs, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 8 August 1843

An item referred to a letter dated Batavia, Dutch East Indies 4^th April reporting that the Dutch colonial vessel De Twee Gebroeders underway from Batavia, Dutch East Indies towards Macassar, Dutch East Indies with on board 200.000 Dutch guilders belonging to the government was lost on the Kan-Galangs.
