French steamship Provincia destroyed by submarine off Cerigo, Greece according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 6 October 1915

An item dated Marseille, France 5th reported that on the Sunday before a submarine of the enemy destroyed off Cerigo, Greece the French steamship Provincia. Her crew was allowed to go on board of the lifeboats.
