Dutch East Indiaman Java bound for the Dutch East Indies in 1687

Pinnace. She left on 30 December 1687, Texel Netherlands, visited Cape of Good Hope, South Africa between 11 April-7 May 1688 and arrived at Batavia, Dutch East Indies on 26 July 1688. Her crew numbered 114 (arrival)-109 (departure) sailors and further more 98 (arrival)-98 (departure) soldiers. Built at Amsterdam, Netherlands for account of the chamber Amsterdam in 1679, dimensions 146-147 x 36-37 x 12-15½ feet, Dutch measurement cargo capacity 324 last, measurement at Batavia, Dutch East Indies cargo capacity 340 last and tonnage 652 metric tons.
