Russian 3-mast schooner Johannes wrecked underway from England towards Russia according to the Dutch newspaper Vlissingse Courant dated 5 July 1901

An item reported that the Russian 3-mast schooner Johannes captain H. Raak left in the end of May Vlissingen, Netherlands towards West-Hartlepool, England loaded with cargo for account of the Maatschappij de Electrotinfabriek at Vlissingen. Sailing from West-Hartlepool towards Russia capsized she in the North Sea causing the death of 3 crew members.
