Dutch 5th charter Edam 1687-1711

Of the admiralty Amsterdam, built at Amsterdam, Netherlands by Hendrik Cardinaal or Jan van Rheenen in 1687/1688, served as escorteur in 1696, wrecked on 21 July 1711, dimensions (Amsterdam foot) 125 (prow) x 31½ x 12½, an armament of 38-46 (1711: 20-12pd, 20-6pd, 6-4pd) guns and a crew numbering 165 men. Commanding officer commandeur Hubert in 1696.
