Norwegian bark ship Haugereid sunk after collision with British steamship W.I. Radcliffe according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 19 January 1887

An item dated Maassluis, Netherlands 17th reported that the Norwegian bark ship Haugereid captain Thronsen underway from Trinidad towards London, England collided in the night of Saturday at the North Sea with the British steamship W.I. Radcliffe underway from Odessa, Russia [nowadays Ukraine]  towards Rotterdam, Netherlands. Her captain but 8 other crewmembers and the pilot were saved and brought to Rotterdam by the W.I. Radcliffe.
