Swedish bark Marnix lost near Maassluis, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 6 January 1885

An item dated Maassluis, Netherlands 4th reported the stranding and loss on the Maasdrooge of the Swedish bark Marnix coming from Skutskar, Sweden underway towards Seville [Spain?] loaded with wood. On the 4th was the inventory and some parts of the wreck sold on a public auction for ƒ 2.490.
