An item dated Sydney, Australia 5th reported the arrival of the steamship Santanderino with a damaged steering device caused by a collision with the Norwegian bark ship Juno off Cape Breton [province Nova Scotia, Canada]. The Juno underway from Amsterdam, Netherlands towards Canada was heavily damaged beached to prevent sinking.
