An item reported that colonel Ribourt adjutant of the French minister of
war a day earlier departed towards London, England to deliberate with the British cabinet
about the expedition towards China.
The naval captain Bourgeois already in England seemed to be ordered to buy 10
large transports for this expedition while the large in France built transports
were not completed.(1)
