British navy lying up older destroyers according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1910-1911 no. 3

An item reported that the older British destroyers were to be gradually stricken and for the time being laid up in the major war harbours. The artillery and torpedo armament was not removed. Periodically were the engines and boilers to be tested. For each group of destroyers was a small detachment for the maintenance available.
