Danish cabinet ordered the building of two submarines by Whitehead, Fiume according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1910-1911 no. 5
An item referred to the German magazine Schiffbau which like other magazines reported that the Danish cabinet ordered the firm Whitehead&Co., Fiume to built two submarines. The German magazine claimed that Whitehead should be satisfied with this order regarded the heavy concurrency between several European and American shipyards. The French magazine Moniteur de la Flotte reported that one submarine was to be built at Fiume [nowadays Croatia], the second under supervision of Whitehead at Copenhagen, Denmark.
