Armament of new French battleships not similar to the Danton-class according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1910-1911 no. 5

An item reported that the six-23.500 French battleships between 1910 and 1911 had a different armament form the Danton-class lacking two kinds of heavy guns but instead fitted out with a real main armament and a secondary armament. It was planned to arm these new ships with 6x2-12-0,5 cm guns of which 4 turrets on the middle ship line, the second and fifth firing over the 1st and 6th turret with the 3rd and 4th for broadside fire. Ammunition capacity for the 30.5cm l/40 guns 100 shells with a weight of 440 kilo and 275 shells with a weight of 365 kilo for the 13,86cm guns.
