Egyptian steam yacht Mahroussa to be fitted out with steam turbines at Glasgow, Scotland according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1904-1905 no. 10

An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht dated 7 January 1905 reporting that the steam yacht Mahroussa of the Egyptian Khedive was underway from Alexandria, Egypt towards Glasgow, Scotland. There it was to be fitted out with turbines by the Parsons turbine company. A.&J. Inglis, Ponthouse would convert de bow intensively which was needed for the turbines. The Mahroussa was to serve in the coming summer.
