An item referred to the newspaper Manchuria dated 3 March 1937 reporting that Russia built 20-500 ton submarines in the Far East between January-July 1936. In August would this fleet consist of 1 aircraft carrier, 2 torpedo boats, 30 torpedo motor boats, 15 gunboats, 2 patrol vessels, 2 minelayers and 60 submarines.
