Armament of British scouts improved according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 4

An item reported that the new 10,2cm guns on board of the British scouts were to be spread over the ship as follows, 2 foredeck, 1aft and 3 at both sides in such a manner that 4 guns were able to fire straight ahead, 3 towards the aft and 5 a side. According to the German magazine Marine Rundschau were the conversion costs of each scout 1,5 million German mark including the rangefinders and fire control equipment.
