German navy continued building new torpedo boats according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1911-1912 no. 3

An item reported that the 12 German torpedo boats to be built were numbered 198-209 and to be fitted out with turbines. After the planned delivery in 1912 were these boats to form the fourth turbine torpedo boat flotilla. The first of such flotilla was commissioned in 1910, the second on short notice, the third in the beginning and the forth was to be commissioned in spring 1913. Of the boats forming the 3rd flotilla were before mid January already 5 launched at the Vulkan and Germania shipyards. The 12 boats now to be laid down were almost similar to the ones built in 1909 1910. Building costs for the 12 boats totally 24.360.000 mark of, for the half already in the new budget was added.
