Japanese navy modernizing battleships, aircraft carriers and auxiliary ships according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1936 no. 6

An item referred to the Jap. Crt. dated 27 August 1936 reported that in the next future the replacement of the battleships was to start, the number of auxiliary ships increased and the air force decreased. The modernisation of the battleships was to be finished in 1936. Next year were the aircraft carriers and auxiliary vessels to be modernized.
