Royal British Navy increased anti torpedo boat guns according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1909-1910 no. 3

An item referred to the Moniteur de la Flotte reporting that the Royal British Navy decided to increase the calibre of the anti torpedo boat guns even more. Instead of around 10cm calibre was asked for 14,2cm guns regarded the new torpedoes with a speed of 30 miles and which could be launched over a distance of 6,4 kilometres. The Imperial Japanese navy choose for her newest battleships already for this calibre.
