Ambitious French naval shipbuilding program for 1900-1904 according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1899-1900 no. 10

An item dealing with the French naval shipbuilding reported that in 1900 2 battleships,  armoured cruiser, 1 cruiser 1st class, 3 gunboats, 6 destroyers, 9 torpedo boats 1st class, 1 turbine boat and 3 submarines were to be completed. In 1901 1 battleship, 5 armoured cruisers, 9 torpedo boats 1st class and 4 submarines. In 1903 3 armoured cruisers, 4 destroyers and 6 submarines and finally in 1904 3 armoured cruisers.
