British, German and Russian navies ordering French Niclause water tube boilers according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1895-1896 no. 11

An item referred to the Marine-Engineer reporting that the British Admiralty ordered 6 water tube boilers from the firm Niclausse, Paris, France. The order was given after the successfully tests with the French cruiser Friant. The firm was also to deliver boilers for a Russian cruiser being built in Germany and which had to develop 10.000 ihp. The German navy also ordered boilers from the same firm.
