Huge Japanese shipbuilding program according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1915-1916 no. 3

An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau reported that the new Japanese shipbuilding program consisted of 4 battleships, 24 destroyers, 3 aviso’s, 8 submarines and a carrier for aircraft. The program was to be executed within 4 years with as costs around 91 million Dutch guilders. Further more were some transports and store ships to be built.
