Frangibility tested of French Naiade-design submarines according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1911-1912 no. 5

An item reported that the French submarines of 68 ton Naiade-design until then just tested to a depth of 11 metres now unmanned were to be sunk to a depth of 32 metres to examine their frangibility. The submarines Faraday and Bernoulli were in the mean time launched.
