British minister Churchill refused to inform the parliament if there were new battleships to be built according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 3 June 1913

An item dated London, England 2nd reported that minister Winston Churchill (1) in the House of Commons was asked what the consequences were of the disapproval of the Canadian Fleet Law. He said no more that the issue was to be discussed within the cabinet. He refused to inform the parliament of in the proposed supplementary budget the building of 3 new battleships included.
