German navy increasing ammunition storage to keep the battle fleet prepared for action according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens 1900 no. 3

An item reported that as a result of the last war at sea it became the German navy clear that it was necessary to have a larger spare stock of ammunition for the ship already in service or being built. During some years was extra ammunition for this purpose to be delivered. This year was 3 million marks available.
