An item reported that the Italian navy ordered at N. Odero, Sestri Ponente, Italy the building of a torpedo boat with as dimensions 47 x 5,16 x 1,205 (medium) metres and a dispalcement of 135 tons. She was designed by naval engineer 1st class G. Rota and to be fitted out with 2.500 ihp engines allowing a speed of 25 knots.
