Swedish armoured gunboat Oden being built according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1895-1896 No. 4

An item reported that in Sweden the armoured gunboat Oden of the Svea-design was being built. Her armament differs from that of the Svea and consisted of 2x1-25cm Canet guns in closed turrets, one fore and one aft. Between the turrets was on the upper deck a lightly armoured casemate in which 4-12cm quick firing guns and 4-5,7cm guns were placed. Further more consisted the armament of 4-3,7cm guns (2 bridge, 2 in fighting tops) and 2,5cm machineguns in the fighting tops.
