Austria captured Italian submarine Giacinto Pullino according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1916-1917 no. 6

An item reported that the Austrians captured the Italian submarine Giacinto Pullino almost undamaged and towed her to Pola [nowadays Pula, Croatia]. Displacement 400 ton, speed 9 (submerged)-15 (surfaced) miles and an armament of 6-45cm torpedo tubes.(1)

1. Laid down at the Arsenal di La Spezia, Italy in June 1912, launched on 21 July 1913, completed in December 1913, run aground at Galiola Is (Quarnaro) in the night of 30-31 July 1916 make an Austrian capture possible, sunk underway towards Pola, salvaged on 28 February 1931 by the Italians and broken up the same year. Displacement was 345 (surfaced)-405 (submerged) tons.
