Navies hesitating to fit out ships with triple gun turrets according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1910-1911 no. 7

An item referred to the United Service Magazine in which W.R. Bennett discussed the advantages and disadvantages of triple gun turrets. Despite the fact that Italy, France, Germany and Japan already used triple turrets when designing new ships they hesitated to use these turrets in reality. In Russia were the 4 new 23.000 tons battleships designed with 4 triple turrets on the centreline.
