New regulations for the personnel of submarines in Royal British Navy according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1907-1908 no. 6

An item referred to the magazine Marine Rundschau reporting that the British admiralty adopted new regulations for the personnel of submarines. Including the practice time served a seaman maximum five years in the submarine service, then he had to serve at least 2 years on board of surface vessels before he could serve for a second time on submarines although maximum for 3 years. Nobody was allowed to serve more as 8 years on board of submarines.
