Russian warships in Finnish waters blown up according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 9 April 1918

An item dated Washington, USA 9th reported that the American Department of State was informed that the blown up Russian warships lying off the Finnish coast were destroyed by German gunfire. Among these ships were 3 battleships. The Bataviaasch nieuwsblad dated 10th supplied any description of what happened. The Russian warships were blown up after the German gunfire.
