The Italian battleship Roma according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1911-1912 no.7

Regina Elena-class

An item reported that the Italian battleship Roma of the Vittorio Emanuele-class was built at the shipyard Ansaldo, La Spezia, Italy. General technical specifications were a displacement of 12.600 ton and as dimensions 144,80 x 22,35 x 8,54 metres. The armament consisted of 2-30,5cm guns, 12-20,5cm guns, 24-1pd guns, 2 machineguns and 2 torpedo tubes. In the spring was during the trials a speed achieved of 20,5 miles with a horsepower of 16.000 ihp.(1)

1. Laid down at the La Spezia Naval Shipyard on 20 September 1903, launched on 21 April 1907, completed on 17 December 1908, stricken on 3 September 1926 and finally broken up. Of the Regina Elena-class consisting of the Regina Elena, Roma, Napoli and the Vittorio Emanuel designed by Vittorio Cuniberti.
