US Navy still lacking enough sailors according to the Dutch magazine Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 2

An item reported that despite the engaging on sailors by the US Navy continued, on 1st February still 5.000 sailors were lacking of the number approved by the Congress. At that moment were 47.104 sailors in service.
