An item dated London, England 17th reported that the British account of what happened during the Battle of Jutland (1) was officially published and that Jellicoe (2) stated that the British losses at the beginning of the battle were caused by insufficient protection of the battleships and the higher elevation of the German guns. Jellicoe furthermore said that the British had much to learn from the Germans considered nightly tactics.
