British destroyer HMS Coquette and torpedo boat No. 11 sunk according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 11 March 1916

An item dated London, England referred to a statement of the British Admiralty that the British destroyer Coquette (1) and the torpedo boat No. 11 hit mines along the east coast and both sunk. Four officers and 41 petty-officers and sailors were killed.

1. Launched by Thornycroft, Chiswick, England on 25  November 1897 and sunk after hitting a mine of the east coast of Britain on 7 March 1916.
