Planned construction work at the navy yard at Lorient, France according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1887-1888 no. 4

An item reported that according to the report of the budget commission for the French naval budget over 1887 dealing with the navy yards that at Lorient the battleships Formidable and Hoche were yet not completed but that it would take another year.
